EMILY MCKOWN, Y.R.U.U.
During this time of pandemic, we have all had to adapt, and children and youth have lost so much of their "normal" lives. Our youth will share their wit and wisdom about adaptability, and what they have learned about it. Youth Coordinator Emily McKown supports the youth in this service. Please come support them too, and hear what they have to say! This is usually one of the best services of the year, not to be missed. This is the third Sunday of our Generosity Campaign.

REV. FLORENCE CAPLOW & REV. SALLY FRITSCHE
"What does it mean to be a people of commitment?" is our Soul Matters theme for March. Come hear a "sermon in dialogue" as our two ministers reflect on commitment and what sometimes can scare us or block us from commitments we may long to make - and especially. How might we commit anyway, even if we are afraid? This is also "Pledge Sunday" and the end of our Generosity Campaign - stay tuned for some fun ways we will celebrate.

REV. FLORENCE CAPLOW
Recent scientific work has identified “awe” as a powerful force for good in our lives. Can awe be cultivated? What do religions say about awe? Where have YOU found awe in your life? Rev. Caplow would love to hear your stories or see photos that express awe for you – send to minister@uucuc.org.

Please consider donating to the Little Free Pantries run by Julie Laut and AJ Herzog, which they have kept active daily since late spring. In order to address increased and unique needs this winter, they have created an Amazon wish list. All items will be delivered to Julie's house and shared between the two pantries. Donations of all items will continue to be accepted as usual at both locations, if you want to bring them in person.
Thank you for your support and generosity ~ Julie and AJ

From Rev. Sally Fritsche: A candle of sorrow for my Grandpa Barrie, who died of COVID complications on Thursday. Please lift up my father and his siblings in your hearts, the grief is made so much heavier by not being able to be with their dad in his final days.
From The Herzogs: This week our son will go to school in-person for the first time in a year, entering his high school building for the first time. We are both excited for the connections and sense of normalcy this may offer him and also nervous about the risks this involves. May all the students going back this week flourish in their respective environments and may they stay safe and healthy.
From Anthony Brienza: To my wife Sue of 11 weeks, 2 days, 6 hours, 32 minutes, and 50 seconds give or take 10 minutes, who's birthday it is this week. I love you with all my heart, you're like a work of art. You're my BFF, I'm your personal chef. My love for you is forever, and forever we'll be together. Happy Birthday, Love Anthony
From Beth Simpson: Joy for surprise kindness from strangers. A person in Ohio, from whom I was trying to buy a car part online, said “Why don’t I just send it to you for free” after he realized I was a musician. That means HE paid $25 to ship an item *I* was getting! He said “I’m in a band, I know times are tough for musicians, and I like your politics.” I’m sending him a CD as thanks.
From The Pitcel Family: Sorrow for the loss of our colleague, Greg Gulick, due to COVID-19.
Please send your joys or sorrows to joysandsorrows@uucuc.org any time before the Joys and Sorrows portion of the service. They will be read aloud.
