COVID-19 UPDATE
Stressed Out? The KDA Wellness Program is Here for You

These are stressful times.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted our lives in ways that we could not have foreseen just weeks ago. We’re thinking about the health and safety of our families, adjusting to a new normal, and weathering an onslaught of news that changes by the minute.

Along with this, we’re concerned about the needs of our patients and the state of our profession. We’re also thinking about how to look after the colleagues who have worked alongside us for years and, in some cases, decades.

Our circumstances are unprecedented and, unfortunately, there are very few simple black and white answers right now. If there is any certainty at all in this situation, please know you are not alone and the KDA Wellness Program is here for you.

The goal of the KDA Wellness program is to provide confidential assistance to dentists in Kansas who may be suffering from physical or mental illness (including stress or anxiety), addiction, or aging issues.

By being pro-active, the dentist can get professional help before it is too late.

Wellness Resources

A variety of resources to help manage stress, anxiety, and depression are available in the KDA COVID-19 Resource Center.
