CMS Delays Medicare Cost Report Due Dates
CMS is currently authorizing a delay on Medicare cost report filing due dates due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The extension applies to all providers who file Medicare cost reports.
This is a blanket extension and organizations do not need to apply for the extension with their MAC.
The table below shows the new due dates based on FYE:
