First Aid and CPR Certification Update
P eople working in the role of direct support professionals and independent providers must maintain active first aid and CPR certifications. In response to coronavirus, the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association have extended expiration dates for 120 days.
Cleveland Clinic Employer Resources for COVID-19
The Cleveland Clinic has recently launched a COVID-19 employer website which offers insight and resources for safely returning to work and resuming operations. Topics include employee well-being and resiliency, keeping everyone safe and cleaning procedures for your workplace.

Safety Guidebooks Available
The Adult Advocacy Centers has released two tools meant to help people with developmental disabilities think through and document their personal safety networks. The guides provide a step-by-step process for whether they have a reliable way to reach out, and who they could reach out to if they feel unsafe.
