Many churches throughout our diocese, as well as Bishop Brown, are offering livestream or recorded services on Sundays, as well as during the week.

On the Worship Schedule below you will find a list of offerings for Holy Week and Easter Sunday. You will also find services that are livestreamed daily, such as Morning, Noonday, and Evening prayer. Please share this widely and on your parish website.

A Message from the Inspector General Regarding Fraudulent Social Security Letters
The Inspector General of Social Security is warning the public about fraudulent letters threatening suspension of Social Security benefits due to COVID-19 or coronavirus-related office closures. The Social Security Administration (SSA) will not suspend or discontinue benefits because their offices are closed. Read full announcement here
 
Did you know?
During a pandemic, Isaac Newton had to work from home, too. He used the time wisely.
Isaac Newton was in his early 20s when the Great Plague of London hit. He was just another college student at Trinity College, Cambridge. In a 1665 version of social distancing, Cambridge sent students home to continue their studies. Outside Newton's home was an apple tree — that apple tree! Read the Washington Post article here

Oasis: The Young Adult and Campus Ministry Annual Leadership Conference is moving online in order to ensure the health and safety of all involved. Designed for Episcopal leaders in ministry with young adults (ages 18-30) on and off college campuses, this annual conference offers opportunities to meet, connect, and to be nourished and nurtured in their ministry. If you are a young adult ministry leader or a campus ministry leader, please register online in order to receive the schedule, instructions for signing into the sessions, and additional information. Please know that you and your communities are in our thoughts and prayers in this trying time. As we have received some inquiries recently regarding parochial reports, we wanted to share information with you in case you receive them as well. Please see the statement from Canon Barlowe regarding reporting online worship. Additionally, please note that due to current challenges of a pandemic that rightfully focus parish and diocesan energies on the immediate needs of the local community, the filing site http://reports.dfms.org will remain live beyond the usual May 1 deadline. Prayers and gratitude for your leadership in this time.

Episcopal Campus Ministry and Blue Hen Bounty Continues to Serve Students
Although the Episcopal Campus Ministry group is on spring break now, at St. Thomas's Parish, Newark, the food pantry for college students, Blue Hen Bounty, remains open by appointment. This pantry is open to any college student with an ID, not just University of Delaware students. This may be a valuable resource for students unexpectedly sent home from distant places. There is no paperwork to fill out, nor need to explain. Students just need to show a college ID. Normally open 9am-2pm Monday - Thursday, and Wednesday and Thursday evenings, it is currently open by appointment. For more information or to make an appointment, contact Cana Hartman at tel: 302.368.4644, or cana.hartman@gmail.com .
Within the next few weeks a plan will be made to continue the ministry.
Episcopal Church Women, Province III, 101st Annual Meeting Postponed
Many of you have been waiting to hear what will happen with the 101st Annual Meeting scheduled for April 17-19, 2020 at the Claggett Center. In an emergency meeting, the Executive Board has voted to reschedule the meeting until August 21-23, 2020.
