April 2020 Week 1
REAA NEWSLETTER
A newsletter to keep you informed about what's "up with arts."

Letter from the BOD President:
Greetings from your local arts scene!

We've been busy working on plans to keep our program participants and audiences engaged through new virtual platforms and adjusting dates/protocols/policies to accommodate the rapidly changing environment. As a leading arts convener in your community, we're going to initiate daily Facebook posts and weekly e-newsletters during the stay-at-home advisory period with links to p rojects, ideas and art-related resources to continue our mission of enriching lives and creating community through the arts. Check out our "Staying Connected and Creative" section below for educational and entertaining things to do from home.

Our program and events schedule is changing frequently, so visit our website for current information. In the hope we are all out and about before summer, we have several programs to put on your calendar (see "Program and Events" section below). Until our next e-newsletter, be safe, follow quarantine directives, and keep creating!

Thank you for your continued support,
Anna Klashka (President, REAA Board of Directors)

Some are cancelled, some are postponed, and some will be held virtually

In the hopes of being released from quarantine before summer, we are busy planning the following programs to run on their scheduled dates...

This popular summer program will run from July 6th-31st at Hudson High School. As usual, we'll offer a variety of theater experiences for Grades 1-12, including extended day programs and public performances. Our Broadway-level show line-up will be announced once we acquire the rights from Music Theater International. In order to remain fluid with scheduling during the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be adapting our registration and payment process in order to accommodate any sudden changes in scheduling that may occur.  We anticipate opening online registration in mid April!  Check our website  for up-to date information.

May 16th-
You're invited to a Pirate and Princesses sing-a-long te a party with games and activities at the First Church in Marlborough. This event will be a great way for families to reconnect with each after being cooped up.  More details to come soon...

June 17th at 6:30 pm  at Wood Park in Hudson. Join us for our annual  FREE concert to celebrate the arts and honor an individual or organization that makes an impact on the cultural vibrancy of our community.  Bring your lawn chairs and picnic dinner and enjoy an evening full of performances and activities for the whole family!
