Business Roundtables Next Week
If you're a Lakeway business owner or representing a business here in Lakeway, we want your input! You only need to attend one of the event times that is most convenient to you. Lakeway businesses - your input is valuable to us! We hope you can participate in one of these two open discussions.

  • Avoid carrying large amounts of cash.
  • Carry your purse close to your body and put your wallet in an inside pocket or front pants pocket.
  • Lock your doors immediately upon entering your vehicle.

NEW: Prepare for the 2020 Census

Our nation gets just one chance each decade to count its population. The data collected by the census determines the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives and is also used to distribute billions in federal funds to local communities. The next census, scheduled to start on April 1, 2020 will require counting an increasingly diverse and growing population of around 330 million people in more than 140 million housing units. In order to ensure that everyone is counted, the Census Bureau will be hiring hundreds of individuals in communities all across the country. They are committed to assigning people to work in the community in which they live. You can help our community by spreading the word about the upcoming census now.

If you're interested in making some extra cash as well as helping with the process, visit 2020census.gov/jobs or call 855-JOB-2020.
