On behalf of the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow (PPRA), we thank everyone for the record-breaking attendance at today’s, September 24, 2022, airshow. We understand that due to these record numbers, there were unforeseen traffic and parking delays, impacting Saturday’s attendees.

To improve and minimize traffic impacts for the Sunday, September 25, 2022, event, PPRA is in communication with the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) to activate an updated traffic control plan that will be put into effect ahead of tomorrow’s event.

The revised plan includes; additional CSPD staffing for traffic control management, additional parking has been added, and modifications have been made to streamline the ticketing process. For faster ticket processing, we suggest Sunday attendees purchase and print out their tickets ahead of time at www.pprairshow.org. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the displays and exhibits before the flying begins. The full schedule can be found here

For questions, please contact info@thesportscorp.org

For those whose flight out of the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) was impacted by traffic delays to the terminal, please contact your airline for more information. Airport Passengers on Sunday, September 25, 2022 are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to the terminal.

Sincerely,

The Pikes Peak Regional Airshow Staff
