COVID-19 #7 | May 2020

The Mitcham Library Service has reopened for a reduced Browse and Borrow service in addition to our Click, call and collect service.

We will continue to monitor and review the situation and will provide regular updates on our social media channels and website.

BROWSE AND BORROW
We know many of our borrowers have been missing the library so we are excited to be able to now offer a limited Browse and Borrow Service.

Customers are able to enter the library and choose their own items to borrow; however we are limiting the number of customers allowed at any one time and asking you to limit your visit to 15 minutes.  Our Click or call and collect  service remains for those who would like to continue to pick up their holds from the library.
KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE
Please be aware that the following services are not available at this stage.

  • Customer queries (please ring the library)
  • Toy Library
  • Computers
  • Photocopying and printing
  • Newspapers
  • Programming and events including Storytimes and Wriggle & Read (check our online sessions!)
  • Reading areas
  • JP services
  • Opening hours after 5.30pm
GOOD NEWS FOR HOLDS!

Borrowers are now able to reserve items from other Libraries.
STORY BOX

We get kids excited about reading, inspire their imaginations and let them have fun with stories, improving their language and literacy skills along the way.

Suitable for preschool and primary aged children, it really is storytime anytime!
Free to library members.
