NEW ACTIVITY GROUP 

1. Weekday Lunch Bunch - Similar to 4x4 groups

Once per month, general co-ed group, visit different restaurants, Sept. - Dec.

Facilitator Sue Hughes. The first meeting will be at the Hughes' home on September 29 at noon.

Deacon Nominations

September is the time to begin the deacon nominating and election process for 2023-2025. To that end, we solicit your assistance and participation

 

We want to give you this opportunity to nominate members of the congregation. You may submit up to seven names. Click here for a nomination form that can be returned to the church office. The deadline to submit a nomination form is Friday, October 7.

Alma Hunt State Mission Offering


Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions is a joint venture of the Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia(WMUV) and the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV). 


We invite you to give to the Alma Hunt Offering - joining your gifts with those of many other Virginia Baptists as we work to share the love of Christ across the Commonwealth of Virginia  and with the whole world.

Monthly Menus

September 28 - Pulled pork, Mac and cheese, Bbq beans, and Buns


Leigh will be leading a discussion group on Wednesday evenings based on the book “Taste and See Discovering God among Butchers, Bakers and Fresh Food Makers” by Margaret Feinburg. 

Kris will lead a book discussion "What's the Least I Can Believe and Still be a Christian?" by Martin Thielen

Blessing Box
The blessing box is an ongoing project of First Baptist Bristol. You are welcome to drop off supplies to the church or restock the blessing box on your own. All types of nutritious foods and water bottles are needed. Cans with tab openings are preferred. Additional plastic utensils are not needed.
You can give online by going to our website and clicking on "Donate" in the upper right-hand corner. You can send your pledge, offering, or special gift by texting (all one word) fbcbristol to 73256. You can also mail your checks directly to the church. Our address is 125 Sedgefield Street, Bristol, VA 24201. Thank you, as always, for your generosity.
