Road conditions online, on your time: WC-ROADS.COM

WC-ROADS.COM, Washington County Land Use & Transportation’s travel impact website, saw a lot of “traffic” during the recent winter weather, providing up-to-the-minute road conditions for area travelers.
In addition to road closures and snow zone activations, the WC-ROADS.COM interactive map includes road camera feeds, providing real-time views of actual road conditions.
All travel impacts, including road and lane closures related to road construction, are included on the site, both as text and on the interactive map. Projects are listed and color-coded according to status: Upcoming (blue), short-term (green), long-term (yellow) and emergency (red).
The WC-ROADS.COM site also includes links to maps, road improvement and service requests and emergency response resources such as ice and snow control routes, sandbag sites and snow zone information. The @washcroads Twitter feed is also displayed.
