Happy Friday, everyone!

I am already looking ahead to mid-October, where we will be having our first annual Churchwide Day of Service event. This day is an excellent opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community!

There are service opportunities for all ages (3rd grade and up) and abilities. Childcare is available as well for ages 6 months - 2nd grade. Join us at 8am for a brief devotion at the church, and then your group will head to your site from 9am-12pm. If possible, come back to the church for lunch and debriefing together. We will finish by 1pm.

The deadline to register is October 3rd, so please go ahead and sign-up. We need you!

Do you have a heart for refugees who have been displaced from their homes due to violence or persecution?

In partnership with World Relief, our church is building a Good Neighbor Team to help resettle a Congolese family in Spartanburg.

The only qualification needed is the willingness to show hospitality to those who need it most!

If you are interested in being part of this team, please contact team lead Garrett Johnson, Donna Pulliam, or Pastor Leslie.

Cleveland Academy Tutors

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer tutor this school year for our students at Cleveland Academy, please contact Mary Elizabeth Evans for more details.

Days, times, and frequency are flexible depending on your schedule!

There are many more opportunities for service available in our Ministry Finder!
