Seeking Students for the NIDDK Medical Student Research Program in Diabetes and Obesity 2020

The Medical Student Research Program in Diabetes and Obesity was established to encourage medical students to consider a research career focused on diabetes or obesity. Students conduct research with an established scientist in the areas of diabetes, hormone action, physiology, islet cell biology or obesity for 2-3 months in the summer between the first and second year, or between the second and third year, of medical school.

Seeking Mentors for the NIDDK Medical Student Research Program in Diabetes and Obesity 2020

If you are an MDRC or MCDTR member at the University of Michigan and would like a medical student to work with you for 8-12 weeks this summer (2020), with funding provided by NIDDK, please email Sarah Cain at [email protected] by Monday, December 16, 2019 and provide a brief (2-3 sentence) description of the project your intern would be working on.
