MONTHLY NEWS AND UPDATES
This year marks a very special Passover. As we celebrate our ancestors’ liberation from slavery in Egypt, we also celebrate the beginning of the liberation of people around the world from a global pandemic. Millions of Americans have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Families are reuniting. We have hopes for getting back to normal soon. We are also inspired by the peace and normalization process between Israel and moderate Arab countries, which marks a new era of collaboration and prosperity in the region.

In a new op-ed in The Hill, what is the future of our policy toward Israel under Joe Biden, Adam and James Carafano of the Heritage Foundation discuss what the strategic alliance between the United States and Israel will look like under the Biden Administration. President Biden has spoken out against the antisemitic BDS movement and has supported the state of Israel throughout his career. At that same time, some of Biden’s most recent nominees include anti-Israel radicals, and his plans on the Iranian nuclear issue remain unclear.

Stand By Me is a nonprofit organization led by Gila that provides care and services to Israeli-American cancer patients and their families in Los Angeles. During the Passover holiday, Stand By Me has continued to provide hot meals and other services to their members and their families with commitment and love.  Please consider donating to ensure that Stand by Me can continue to fulfill its mission to make sure no one faces cancer alone.

Adam was a recent guest on Rabbi Dovid M. Cohen's Jewish Philanthropy Podcast. They discussed Adam's journey to America and his philanthropic work. Watch the video podcast below.

Lastly, we invite you to learn about Reservists on Duty, an incredible organization that trains college students and IDF reservists to speak with knowledge and confidence on behalf of Israel. We are proud to support the important work they do for the State of Israel.

With sincere love and admiration for America, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people,

Gila and Adam Milstein
What is the future of our policy toward Israel under Joe Biden?
The article was originally published in The Hill
"...throughout his career, Biden has unapologetically supported Israel and firmly rejected the antisemitic BDS movement. Moreover, his administration has embraced the widely accepted International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism. Recently the administration announced its opposition to the International Criminal Court probe into Israel requested by the Palestinians. The objection argued that the probe “unfairly” targets Israel and that Palestine isn’t a sovereign state and therefore has no standing at the Hague."

Stand By Me
"With a warm heart and open arms, Stand By Me is the extended family in support of its brothers and sisters on their road to recovery."

- President, Gila Milstein

Jewish Philanthropy Podcast with Rabbi Cohen:
Ambition, Intensity & Resolve

In this interview, Adam talks about his journey to America, fighting antisemitism, what it means to make an impact in your lifetime and leave a legacy, cancel culture, and more!
Spotlight Organization: Reservists on Duty
Reservists on Duty (RoD) is committed to fighting antisemitism and the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement (BDS) by utilizing hundreds of trained activists from all backgrounds. RoD created a group of Israeli-Arab activists who support Israel and Zionism, including Muslims, Christians, and Druze. Group members participate in activities in the US focused on educating college students about Israel.

RoD’s work, which has been generously supported by the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation since 2018, is built on the commitment to stand (even on short notice) alongside pro-Israel activists, individuals, and communities, who need support with confronting hate organizations on campuses and beyond.

Following the historic Abraham Accords, RoD initiated Sharaka, a new project connecting Israelis with Arabs from the Gulf. Sharaka made history by bringing a delegation of Emirati influencers to Israel for the first time. The delegation visited the Israeli parliament and Yad Vashem, and met with President Reuven Rivlin. Sharaka will soon bring delegations of Israelis and Arabs from the Gulf to the US to discuss peace and partnership with college students.
