The Greatest Love of All -
Learning to Love Ourselves

Happy Valentine's Day, to my Unity of Dallas brothers and sisters!

It looks like we will be celebrating an especially cold day of love during an epic time of life for us all. It's a perfect day to ignite a fire within, and shower some love on an unlikely, yet very deserving person - ourselves!

We often neglect our own care as we commit ourselves to loving and caring for others. But it really is true, that all "drain" and no "fill" leaves us empty, exhausted, and in poor shape to care for anyone.

It's unfortunate that some think that taking care of oneself is selfish, or a luxury, rather than a necessary, everyday practice that is key to surviving and thriving in this dramatic time.

We will talk about the difference between self love and self care, as well as the amazing influence the Black Panthers and Women's Rights had in birthing the wellness movement. Learn the myriad ways to care for our physical, mental, emotional, professional, relationship and spiritual lives.

Love is our commandment at Unity of Dallas. We let it encompass our entire world, starting with the love and care of our most precious resource - ourselves.

Musical Director

  • To keep our Ushers safe, we have placed a collection box just outside the sanctuary for your offerings.
  •  First-floor restrooms are open with a 2-person maximum, but water fountains are not available at this time.
