Tatum Rivera is one of our outstanding youth leaders of Palmetto Bay. Tatum is currently the Co-Chair of our Youth Community Involvement Board, which she has been a part of since she was 14 years old, serving different leadership roles. She graduated from Palmetto Senior High School in 2020, where she was part of the varsity swim team representing the team in regional competitions. She is currently at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Finance. She has always been dedicated to service and the environment. Tatum became a girl scout in kindergarten and remained active for 12 years. In 2019, she created the educational recycling program, Recycle Palmetto Bay, and led educational workshops and created educational materials for social media pages and the Village’s website. She is also a founding member of the “BeachesTeens” Volunteerism Teen Advisory Panel (TAP) program, which served as a forum for teens to providing insight that created new and exciting teen activities at Beaches Resorts.
Tatum, we salute you and thank you for your dedication and commitment to our environment, our community and showing us the huge contribution and value our young adults are making to Palmetto Bay! The best is yet to come!
