Reentry Update | May 22, 2020
As city and state governments continue to differ on how to phase back into life together, we stand committed to a process that fosters health and wholeness.

This was a priority for John Wesley, founder of Methodism, even as it is for us: To foster practices that lead to faithfulness in the way of Jesus, practices that first seek to "do no harm". Because so many in our faith family are highly vulnerable, we are committed to a reentry process that chooses well-being over speed.

We will continue to gather virtually as a congregation for worship and small groups as we regularly reassess the safety of meeting in person.   congregational survey  will be sent out next Friday that will also allow for your voice to be heard.

Ultimately, any decisions made by the Ministry Team, in conversation with the Church Council, will be based upon updates from government officials, health experts, and denominational leaders.

Thank you for your ongoing faithfulness as we seek to worship, fellowship, study, and pray together in ways that are healthy and sustainable.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Request a Hymnal

Have a piece of Duke Memorial with you as you worship from home. Sing the harmonies or just have easier to read text.

Send requests for delivery to Mark in the
church office.

Loaned hymnals will be logged and return instructions given upon re-opening.
A Note from the Trustees

One of the duties of the Trustees is to inventory the Church's assets and report to the Conference. Included in this is an estimate of the value of our buildings and grounds. We need someone to help us with this valuation. Do you have skills, whether professional or amateur in this area? Contact Tad DeBerry if you'd like to help!
Tablet Donation

Do you have extra tech laying around?
Duke Memorial can use your extra tablets as we continue to transform our offerings to match this increasingly digital time.

Contact Mark in the church office to inquire about donating your extra gear.
