Like so many, the 2020 election inspired Shawn to get involved. In his case it was the very questionable way it ended. Instead of just quietly seething though, Shawn decided to take action. He began organizing the Election Integrity Project Nueces County as a way to direct people on how they can become part of the solution. Starting with just eight members the organization now totals 50. They focus on empowering people to become election workers, and educating members on election integrity legislation being debated in Austin and Washington, D.C.
Learn more about Shawn's efforts, election integrity and perhaps get your own inspiration by listening to this week's Talking with TAD. If you would like to get involved or have questions for Shawn on how to start your own Election Integrity group you can email Shawn directly here, or click here to visit their Facebook page.

For New Rasmussen Poll - 75% Support Voter ID Laws
Wednesday, March 17, 2021
As the U.S. Senate considers legislation that would revamp America’s election laws, voters still overwhelmingly support laws requiring that voters show identification before casting a ballot.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 75% of Likely U.S. Voters believe voters should be required to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote. Only 21% are opposed to such a requirement. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
