Some recent reflections by parishioners:

I wonder if God is pushing the pause button; so that we can slow down, regroup, and go deeper into our True selves- to listen for the still small voice, to practice trusting- to let go and die to our agendas- so that we can receive and live into our new reality with our Holy One?

In the middle of the night, trying to fall back asleep I heard what I call my G*d voice say to me, why don’t you consider this time a chance to explore more deeply into new and existing projects, even to consider you are on a retreat? I was able to sleep then. The wider perspective brought me hope. There is more than fear and loss in what we all are experiencing.

I found comfort in these words from Rabbi Yosef Kanefsky as we head into the weekend:

"Every hand that we don't shake must become a phone call that we place."

"Every embrace that we avoid must become a verbal expression of warmth and concern."

"Every inch and every foot that we physically place between ourselves and another, must become a thought as to how we might be of help to that other, should the need arise."
