COVID UPDATE 2/11/2020
Dear Residents,

We have been made aware of the announcement "UNH Durham Transitions to Orange to Slow the Spread of COVID". We would like to remind all residents to please stay compliant with all COVID safety precautions and measures.

See below for information on how this change in UNH operation may affect you, and the precautions we are taking for your safety:


  • "Off-campus students may not isolate or quarantine on campus due to lack of space." Please keep your living areas clean, with continued disinfecting to keep yourself and roommates safe. Please stay compliant with UNH's Covid Testing.

  • "All gatherings are limited to no more than six people with all appropriate public health recommendations in place including physical distancing and face coverings." We have increased security at all properties to help monitor and ensure the safety of our residents. If you have concerns of residents not following UNH's Covid Guidance you may notify our office during business hours, or Contact our Security Staff for after-hours assistance.


  • Upon notification of quarantine, our staff can assist with delivery of your packages outside your apartment door. Please contact our office if you require package delivery assistance.

  • Upon notification of quarantine, you may leave your trash bags outside of your apartment doors and our staff will safely dispose of it. Please submit a maintenance request between the hours of 8am-4pm to notify our Maintenance team to pick the trash up.

  • Hand sanitizer locations remain located in our North and South tower elevator lobbies.

~UNH COVID UPDATES~

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff — We are seeing a dramatic and sustained rise in the number of positive COVID-19 cases within the Durham community. As a result, effective 6 p.m. today, Feb. 11, 2021, the Durham campus (Manchester and Law remain in yellow) will transition to our orange mode of operation and impose the following restrictions:
~ COVID Safety Measures ~
We will be continuing with our Covid Safety measures, including but not limited to:

  • Required Face Coverings When In Public Areas
  • Limited Gym Capacity (4) with Required Gym Sign Up Times
  • Increased Property Surveillance For Large Gatherings
  • Hand Sanitizer Locations throughout Madbury Commons
  • Regular Property Cleaning

Please remember to stay safe and follow all guidelines throughout this semester.
~ WiFi Upgrade ~
2020 quickly showed us all how important a strong and fast WiFi connection can be. As many courses and jobs moved remotely, alongside in an increase in free time activities, such as video game playing and video streaming, we had to make quick improvements to our network infrastructure.

To resolve this issue we have installed access points in every apartment along with increasing our bandwidth. This winter we have been busy working with our internet support company, Blueport, to trouble shoot any remaining issues and prepare for this upcoming semester. We will closely monitor our networks performance as students return to campus and urge you to contact Blueport or our staff ASAP if you encounter any difficulties.
~ Bathroom Painting ~
Over the course of Winter Break we completed our bathroom paint upgrades! This moisture resistant paint will help to protect our property and keep the moisture out of your bathroom space. What's even better? Its easy to keep clean! We urge our residents to maintain clean living areas for everyone's health.
~ Apartment Lighting ~
After reviewing our Resident Feedback Survey, we got right to work starting a project to replace all of the hanging LED style lights with lights similar lights to those found in your bedrooms and living room areas.

So far we are happy to announce 27 Apartments have been upgraded to this new feature! We will be continuing work on this improvement throughout the semester.
~ Optional Credit Reporting ~
Opt in on your Resident Portal
We are now offering optional credit reporting to help our valued residents build credit history! You can opt in on your Resident Portal by clicking 'Make a Payment' and then 'learn more and 'opt in' on the next screen.

Whenever you make an on-time rent payment through the portal, it will be reported to the Credit Bureaus. There is no negative reporting if you miss a payment, this can only benefit you!

To kick off this new feature we'll be raffling off a $100 Visa eGift card to a MadCom Resident in February. To enter, simply pay your February rent BEFORE it's due on on the 1st. Do yourself a favor and opt in to credit reporting first and get the most out of this offer!
