March Madness Continues

With our health officials and public leaders advocating self-quarantine and shutting down of events to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus, EHS will be doing its part as well. We will close our walk-in store portion of our business commencing at the end of the business day today. We tentatively plan to reopen the store again on April 1, 2020 unless it is deemed unsafe.

To survive, the EHS Back Shop (repairs, custom building, decoder installs, custom painting, etc.) will continue to serve you along with our online store www.enginehouseservices.com (since we will be in isolation). We will respond to emails and phone calls, however since we are working, we will be slow to respond or miss your call if we are in the process of working on something challenging, so please leave a message.

One of the first clinics we intend to have, when this unexpected predicament is over, will be a bring and brag session, where you can bring in what you worked on while you were in self-quarantine. If there is a great response to the bring and brag session, we may offer some prizes to the ones that created something special!

As mentioned in our last announcement; to help all parties involved we are offering an additional 5% discount for online orders; just use "MissingYou" as the coupon code. In addition, all sales over $100 have free ground shipping. The coupon is only good through our website, all call in orders, email orders, work orders or preorders/sales orders are not eligible.

If you have not viewed our website recently, it has been upgraded and is easy to navigate. If you know the part number just type it in the search bar at the top of it. However, if you are "shopping" use the drill down menu on the left side of the page. For example: Click on "Shop" at the top of the home page, then Trains> Locomotives/Traction> Diesel> GP7>. You will be down to a couple of pages to pick from.

Ideally you will order via our website so we can keep our "social distance", however if you would rather call us or email us with an order:
It could work like this:
  1. Customer uses the website - or calls or emails an order.
  2. We call the customer when the order is picked.
  3. We manually process a credit card payment.
  4. Customers are directed to ring the bell at the side door to pick up their order at an agreed upon time.

Preordering is easy, email us or call us with the items you want and we will take care of it from there! When it arrives at our shop we will notify you that it has arrived and you have ten business days to finish the transaction to guarantee the preorder price.
