THE GREAT EGG DROP
Third graders are learning about forces in motion. In doing so, they learned about how gravity pulls on an object and how speed and acceleration are part of an object in motion. They learned about distance and how an object can move faster over a specific distance. They learned how motion is the change in position and that the motion of an object can be described by the distance it travels. We decided to test out their knowledge here at Star Center by challenging them to an EGG DROP. Here are some results and images from the day.
