CHARGER STAMPEDE
Arete means aspiring to excellence in every area, be it athletics, academics, or the arts.
Football Home Opener is Friday 10/9 vs. Glendale Prep!
Reminder:
Great Hearts Athletics Fan Attendance Rules 2020

If not a family member of a participating athlete, your best bet for gaining entry is to VOLUNTEER! We have many roles to fill, including for our football home opener. To inquire about volunteering for a particular event, please contact Coach Conklin or Coach Smith:

Join the GAMEDAY CREW! We are in need of 10 student volunteers to help with our football home opener. These 10 spots are open to SENIORS first. Seniors, email Coach Conklin to volunteer for Friday night ASAP!

Great Hearts is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our athletes and visiting teams. The following are the rules for attendance at a Great Hearts home event for the 2020 Fall season. All adjustments or notifications of changes will originate from the Great Hearts Home Office, if it is determined that it is safe to do so.

For Indoor (Gym) events:
All players and coaches will be allowed two (2) immediate family members in attendance for games. All family members will need to sit together, distanced from other spectators.

 For Outdoor (Field) events:
All players and coaches will be allowed four (4) immediate family members in attendance for games. All spectators will be asked to stay with their own family, distancing from other families. AD's will create spaces to sit for families that will designate appropriate distancing.

Before the Game: For entry, all spectators, players, coaches, and officials will need to abide by the following:
1. A mask is to be worn at all times (inside and outside) by coaches, team personnel, spectators, and athletes who are not competing.
2. All will have their temperature taken and COVID symptom questions will be asked before entering. If the temperature is over 100, the individual will be asked to wait to have their temperature taken again. If it is still over 100 after multiple attempts, the individual will be asked to leave the campus.
3. Spectators must stay with and sit with their immediate family for the duration of the contest.

After the Game: All spectators, players and officials will be given guidance for exiting the facility and will be asked to exit immediately following the game. For parents of athletes, please wait in your car for your athlete to arrive
Thank You Coach Narish!

Dear Arete Boys Soccer Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that I am stepping down from coaching the High School Boys Soccer Team this year for personal and family reasons. It was a really difficult decision for me to make because of all that coaching at Arete has given to me. Coaching here is why I became a teacher at Arete, those players and all players afterwards have shown me that Arete is really good for my soul. I will definitely be out there cheering for our Chargers this year, but it will be on a different sideline. It has been a joy and an honor to start the HS Boys Soccer program and I know that the team is in good hands for all future seasons. I wish the team all the best and it is bitter sweet to say one last time, GO CHARGERS!

                                                              Coach Narish

We want to extend heartfelt gratitude to Coach Narish for leading our boys soccer program with integrity and class for the last decade. He was instrumental in the development of the program and has positively influenced so many of our students athletes.

THANK YOU COACH NARISH!
