EQUIPPING YOU FOR DISCIPLESHIP

INFO SESSION

Join us this Wednesday, September 14 at 6:45pm in the Sanctuary as we dig deeper into how you can integrate discipleship into your existing rhythms and relationships. We will have a time of sharing our stories and struggles, and learn more about how HBIC understands discipleship and what that means for you!

HOW DO I PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES?

While the Missions Ministry Team has been highlighting Missionaries of the Month throughout this year, for the month of September, we will be sharing tips on ways to pray for missionaries. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Dependence on God: Pray for missionaries to model a life of dependence on God.
  • Wisdom: Pray for missionaries to have a spirit of humility, and to willingly ask God for wisdom in carrying out their assignment.
  • Persistence: Pray for endurance, stamina, and pacing for missionaries to insure long-term, fruitful ministry.
  • Rest: Ask God to help missionaries recognize their need for weekly rest away from ministry responsibilities.

Do you know our missionaries? If you’d like to get to know some of our missionaries and pray for their specific needs as well as rejoice in how God is using them, contact the Missions Ministry Team through Pastor Lynda.

GROCERY GIFT CARDS

Did you know that you can purchase gift cards for Giant, Weis and Karns through HBIC and we get 5% of the value of the card? Contact the church office to order if you're interested and we will arrange a pick-up time with you!
