Dear Mercy Staff, Students & Families,

We are pleased to share a sneak peek of some exciting campus construction updates happening at Mercy! Thank you to our faithful donors who made many of these capital improvements possible. Students and staff will return to these renovated areas.

  • Five classrooms are receiving air conditioning, new ceilings and a fresh coat of paint: S1, S2, S3, S17 and S19.
  • The math classrooms and north side of the cafeteria have new energy-efficient windows.
  • 32 new HEPA air filters were installed throughout the building for better air quality.
  • A new circulation desk is coming to the Media Center.
  • The art studio classrooms (S1, S3) have new cabinetry and counters will have new track lighting to highlight art displays.
We are thrilled to announce the construction and installation of Mercy’s inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame display in the lobby outside of the gym. There will be a Hall of Fame dedication and induction ceremony this September. More to come on the athletes, coaches and teams who will be part of this first Hall of Fame class!
Thank you to the Auction’s Principal’s Pick, the Mercy gym locker room is receiving a nice facelift this summer.
  • Flooring, paint, mirrors, electrical outlets, lighting, counters, lockers and benches are being installed for our athletes and physical education students to enjoy.
Other athletic updates include:
  • Gym floor is being refinished.
  • New spectator stands are coming to the Varsity Softball Field.
As you can see, there are many reasons to be proud of our school! We are overwhelmingly grateful to the generous donors who committed to these projects, as well as to all of YOU who support Mercy.

Enjoy the end of summer and we look forward to welcoming all of our students for the first day of classes on August 24th!
