- Make policy decisions and take actions for program, membership building, and fund-raising
- Participate in WILPF US deliberations on policy, budget, and other issues
- Help shape and develop WILPF at the national level
- Develop respectful working relationships with sister board members

Choose among the 2020 open board positions and board terms ranging from one to three years:- Secretary, 3-year term
- Development Committee Chair, 1 year (remaining of a 3-year term)
- Nominating Committee Chair, 1 year (remaining of a 3-year term)
- Personnel Committee Chair, 2 years (remaining of a 3-year term)
- Program Committee Co-Chair, 3-year term
- Program Committee Co-Chair, 2 years (remaining of a 3-year term)
- At-Large Member position, 3-year term
Candidates must have been a WILPF US member at least by the beginning of September 1, 2018.
