Spring Eggstravaganza Bunny Baskets
The Spring Eggstravaganza Bunny is coming to town and bringing gifts to celebrate the season! The bunny will make an appearance along with local vendors to hand out baskets full of treats and goodies for children ages 10 and younger. Baskets are $5 and must be reserved in advance. You can see the bunny and pick up your basket Saturday, April 3 at the Palladio or California Family Fitness. Quantities are limited; find more details and reserve your basket online. Community Service Day Organizers Seek Project Proposals, Brainstorming Meeting Planned
The Folsom community is uniting again to plan the eighth annual Community Service Day. This powerful day of service mobilizes thousands of volunteers of all ages and interests to complete dozens of service projects throughout Folsom. Organizers seek community-based projects for this year's Community Service Day event, planned for Saturday, September 18.

A virtual community brainstorming meeting will be held Thursday, April 8, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to identify community needs and potential Community Service Day projects. Please RSVP to info@folsomcommunityservice.org. Submit a project proposal online.

Folsom Public Library Open 
The Folsom Public Library building is open for “Grab and Go” services. Grab and Go is designed to let library patrons make short, safe library visits. Visits are limited to one hour, and the number of library guests limited to ensure safe social distancing. Face coverings are required to use the library and must be worn at all times.

The Folsom Public Library is open noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays is reserved for seniors and the medically vulnerable. The book return is open 24/7. Returned items are quarantined for 24 hours prior to check-in.

Spring Break Sports Camps
Registration is open for a variety of in-person spring break camps for kids and teens. Camps take place March 29 through April 2 and include multi-sports, soccer, and basketball. Find more details about the camps and register online.
Students Ride Transit for Free 
All students in grades TK through 12 can ride Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) for free through the RydeFreeRT program. With RydeFreeRT, students can ride the entire SacRT transit network, including SacRT buses, Folsom Stage Line, light rail, and SmaRT Ride on-demand microtransit service for free. RydeFreeRT is available all day, any day of the week, all year during regular SacRT service hours. Learn more about the program at rydefreert.com.
Groundwater Sustainability Plan Public Workshop Tonight 
Join the Sacramento Central Groundwater Authority for a virtual public workshop to discuss the new South American Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 25 via Zoom. Although the City of Folsom obtains its drinking water from Folsom Lake, the city is a member of the Sacramento Central Groundwater Authority and recognizes the regional benefit of conjunctive use and agency coordination. New Adult Volleyball League Open for Registration
This new coed 4x4 league for ages 18+ plays Tuesday evenings on the lighted turf volleyball courts at John Kemp Community Park. The league begins April 20 and runs through June 8; eight games are guaranteed and playoffs will be determined based on total number of teams registered. League fee is $180 / $160 resident discount (60% of team roster lives or owns property in Folsom). Learn more and register.
