MASKING WILL BE REQUIRED
From the beginning of the pandemic, GMSD has followed the guidance of the Shelby County Health Department. We will continue to do so. According to the Amendment to Directive No. 24 , which was released Friday morning, GMSD will follow the mask mandate for person(s) vaccinated and unvaccinated while indoors on GMSD campuses. *If your child has a valid CDC exemption and is unable to wear a mask, please reach out to your school administration (medical documentation will be required per the SCHD).

The FHES PTO would like to give a giant "THANK YOU” to Tatums Made ‘Em, our first Spirit Night of this school year. This fantastic new sponsor donated $40 of their sales at Meet the Teacher back to our PTO. We can’t wait to have their delicious homemade ice cream sandwiches back on campus! Thanks to MemPops for bringing their yummy popsicles too! In other fox fundraising news, over $80 has been raised through Mabel’s Labels since we joined them this summer and we ended the 2020/2021 school year with a grand total of $387.58 generated through Amazon Smile purchases. Don’t forget to log in to the Amazon Smile app and choose Forest Hill Elementary PTO when you purchase from Amazon. Thanks again for your participation! Everything we do is possible through the incredible support of our FHES families. Way To Go Foxes!!

Shout Outs
A big thank you to local business, Sharon’s Shout Outs, for providing the fun “Welcome Back” and “Back to School” signs that have been displayed on our FHES campus this week! We hope everyone enjoyed snapping first day of school pictures by them!
Ways to Support

Forest Hill Elementary PTO is partnering with Mabel’s Labels again this year. They give 20% of each purchase back to our school! Get waterproof labels for all of your student's supplies, stamps for shirts and jackets to keep them out of the lost and found, allergy reminders for lunches or even silicon name bands for water bottles. Visit mabelslabels.com, choose Forest Hill Elementary in Germantown as the fundraiser you would like to support, and start shopping!

Other super easy ways to raise money for our school is with Amazon Smile and Kroger. Each time you log into Amazon Smile (this is different than your standard Amazon login) and choose Forest Hill Elementary School PTO, Amazon will make a contribution to our PTO with each purchase! If you go to your Kroger account online and choose the Community Reward screen, you may choose FOREST HILL ELEMENTARY PTO to start earning $$ for the fun events and programs the FHES PTO plan each school year.
Note! You have to log in through Amazon Smile each time you shop.
Log in and go to My Account to set up your Community Rewards
For questions about participating in these programs, contact Jenna Kasser.
