Children's Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training: Now Available!

We are pleased to announce the
Children's Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training (UCNPT)!

This training is a collaboration between the Center for Practice Innovations, Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) & the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) at the McSilver Institute, Center on Addiction, OMH and OASAS.

  • This training is designed to help prepare behavioral health providers who are part of Medicaid Managed Care Plan (MMCPs) networks to meet the behavioral health needs of the children, adolescents, young adults, and families they serve.
  • This training offers unified state-of-the art web-based learning for Medicaid managed care network providers in critical topic areas such as clinical core competencies and evidence-based practices. Trainings will be released periodically.
  • Providers serving children/youth aged birth to 21 and offering the following services in New York State are encouraged to complete these trainings: Outpatient child-serving clinics, Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS), Children's Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and Voluntary Foster Care Agencies (VFCA).
  • You may learn more about this training by visiting our UCNPT homepage
Our first training entitled, " Key Factors to Keep in Mind when Serving Children, Youth and Families" is available now in the CPI Learning Management System! This 2-hour training will provide an overview of key topics relevant to providing quality behavioral health care to children and youth. As the title suggests, the following topics will be addressed: providing family-driven, youth guided, and trauma informed care; engaging families in their care; coordinating across multiple systems; and facilitating recovery and resilience. Providers may earn 2 Continuing Education Units for social work, CASAC or LMHC at no cost when completing this training!

Additional trainings will be released in the future. You will be notified when new trainings are made available. If you are interested in completing these trainings, please ask your program supervisor to fill out our brief 5-item
