Help support our district campground! We will have a special offering for Arrowhead Camp on this Sunday, September 20. Due to Covid-19, the campground was unable to hold camps and they could use our support! Prayerfully consider what God would lay on your heart to give.

Partner with us as we support our community through our monthly House Of Hope food and household donations. Crowley House Of Hope provides food, clothing, and financial assistance to residents of Crowley and those living in the Crowley Independent School District. September's food donation focus is canned tuna. Other items needed are canned goods, rice dinners, instant potatoes, laundry detergent, paper products, and personal hygiene products. Donations will be received this Sunday, September 20 following the 9am and 10:30am services. Please place your donation on the designated table in the back of the Sanctuary. - No offering plates passed, give online, offering plates on usher tables, or in drop boxes

New - Our service attendance is growing! With this in mind, we are changing our seating to allow for more room in between rows and for social distancing between families. There will no longer be rows roped off. Be assured we are disinfecting the chairs.

We are excited to announce our Kids Ministry is reopening on Sunday, October 4! We will have kids Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesday evening services. Click here to see our reopening plan. We also have a FAQ document that can be found here, a great resource for parents. Pastor Jennifer and her team have prayed and researched and have come up with a great, safe plan to reopen. There will also be some updates and changes in the ministry. Our kids ministry team can't wait to get back together with First Church Kids and Families! Ladies, we are excited for our FWF Women's Retreat, It's the Little Things, September 25-27. Tomorrow, September 18 is the last day to Register! Join us for a relaxed time of getting away with your FWF girlfriends at our beautiful district campground, Arrowhead Camp in Cleburne, Texas. Lodging can be 1-4 to a room, your choice. Becky Glidden will be sharing with us challenging and encouraging words as we navigate through these crazy days! Men (18 and older), First Church is having our own MAN CAMP! Join us October 2-4 at Arrowhead Camp and Retreat Center. We'll enjoy God's Word, great food, fellowship, and a host of many activities such as; horseshoe tournaments, golf, fishing, skeet shooting, frisbee golf, ping pong tournament, and a motorcycle ride. Cost is $125 for a lodge room (2 per room), $65.00 for RV camping (along with a shared hook up fee). Cost includes 4 meals - for all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Skeet Shooting is an extra $5 per person and golf is an additional cost (tbd). Registration and payment is due by September 20. Check-in starts at 3:30pm on Friday, October 2. We are excited to announce that First Church will launch a new outreach ministry. Saving Grace Ministries has been created to minister to those who have been affected directly or indirectly by an abortion decision. Our desire is to come alongside those who have previously had an abortion as well as the family and/or friends who have been affected by the decision. We know that abortion is a sensitive subject and a traumatic experience for anyone involved. We believe that God desires that His people have a voice in speaking truth and love into the hearts of hurting people. Please be in prayer for this ministry. More information will be coming soon. Our 100th Anniversary Celebration will kick off with Nazarene Christian Academy's Homecoming Football game on Friday, October 9 at 7:30pm. We are anticipating a great weekend. We will have our normal services at 9am and 10:30am with guest speaker, Dr. David Graves. Our 9:00am Service Has Room for You! Since our double services began, we have had a tremendous response, as well as many newcomers attending First Church! The Training Depot is open. They must adhere to strong CDC guidelines during this time. It is extremely important for anyone coming to the church during this time to follow the guidelines below. We appreciate your cooperation with the recommendations to assure the safety of our TD children and staff.
- Please do not enter the TD hallway unless absolutely necessary.
- If you need to enter the TD hallway, you are required to stop at the cones & call the TD office or stop at the door and ring the doorbell.

Rightnow Media is available for our church families. It is a streaming library of Bible study videos and is an excellent resource for all ages.
