Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks at Lake Pat Cleburne
Make plans for a fun Fourth of July celebration with family and friends at Lake Pat Cleburne. From 11 a.m. until after the fireworks show, vendors and food trucks will be along Lakeshore Drive. Then at dark there will be fireworks from the damn synced to the music of Journey from radio 88.3.

The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Fireworks Watching Party at Cleburne Golf Links starting at 6:30 p.m. RSVP Required for only $25 per carload, max 8/persons per car). This event includes live music, food and drink for sale, and an outstanding view of the fireworks.
Cody Canada & The Departed kick off Market Square Concert Series
This year’s first Market Square concert on June 22 features Cody Canada & The Departed. This group is a blend of hard-edged country and rock & roll. Brandon Rhyder opens at 7 p.m. Rhyder is a Texan whose Texas Country/Red Dirt sound and lyrics will set the mood for a good time before the headliner comes on stage at 9 p.m.

As always, the Market Square Concert Series is family friendly and cooler friendly. Concert-goers are more than welcome to bring their own food and drink but food trucks will also be on site selling tacos and snow cones.
New pavement on Washington, Chase, Granbury streets
Crews finished laying new asphalt on Washington, Chase, and Granbury streets these past two weeks.

The contractor plans to begin working on Yellow Jacket Drive the week of July 8, weather permitting, with Industrial Boulevard following.

Summer Reading fun continues at the Cleburne Public Library
Events at the Cleburne Public Library continue! On Tuesday, June 25, the slick jugglers will bring their craft for two shows. The jugglers will perform at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The Cleburne Animal Shelter is offering a special adoption rate through July 6.

During the Let Freedom Ring adoption special, adoption fees are discounted to $17.76 and include spay or neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test & prevention, flea/tick prevention, de-worming, 30-days of pet health insurance, and a free pet food sample.
