I wanted to thank the families that were able to send in photos for our faculty and staff appreciation video. With everything going on, it was just "one more thing" but it was apparent that a lot of hard work went into the creative messages that were represented in the video. Our faculty and staff were very touched by your efforts. I think at this point in our quarantine time, it was just what was needed! If you missed the video or want to watch it again, please click here.

Don't forget that t his Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day. The day provides a special opportunity to show all of our mothers just how much we appreciate everything that they do for us. Why not do a little something and make someone's day special!

And most importantly, please do not forget our Blessed Mother Mary. May is the month of Mary and we have been praying a decade of the rosary every school morning. A daily video leading your child in prayer has been created by our 8th grade students and delivered to their SMA email account each morning.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend.

Peace and God's blessing.

 Registration

Registrations For Next Year

The deadline for registration was last Friday, May 1st.  If you have not sent in your paperwork and deposit and want to return, please send it in as soon as possible. Once the deadline has passed, we cannot guarantee that a slot will be available for your child.

As you can imagine, planning for next year is difficult and we need all the information possible to make good fiscal decisions.

Thank you!

 Grade 7 News

Wow...That's Cool!

Students in grade seven completed an expository writing assignment when they combined their English class and their favorite class, Math. The students created a math book for younger students that illustrated and explained the four basic operations of math.

Very creative, don't you think? I think we might have some future teachers here!

Grade 4 News

Religion Class in Grade 4

In an effort to help students remember how to pray their rosary, our 4th grade students were asked to draw a picture of rosary beads and write out the prayers that would be needed to complete a decade.

Good work students!

Students Enjoy Singalong

What's more fun than a singalong?  A Zoom singalong! Mrs. Duplessis held a Zoom singalong for students in preschool through grade 2. More than 30 students joined in the fun!

Photos From Home

Here are some photos from home including a few teacher appreciation photos that were a little late and didn't make it into the video. But they still appreciate their teachers!

Food For Thought

"The spirit of humility is sweeter than honey, and those who nourish themselves with this honey produce sweet fruit."

Prayer Corner

St. Michael the Arch angel, pray for us!

We pray for our brothers and sisters across our nation and across the world. May God give everyone strength during this especially stressful time.

We pray in a special way for:

Fr. Joseph F. Connolly
Eileen Pericolosi
Jim Avis
Sr. Peggy Crowley

And we pray for our recently departed  and for all those lives that have been taken by the Covid-19 virus across the world.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
