City completes traffic signal upgrades
|
Public Works staff marked the completion of signal replacements at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Preston Oaks Drive/Breckenridge Close (west of the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Jones Bridge Road) today.
The project included replacing the spanwire signals with mast arms at each corner of the intersection - part of the city’s plan to upgrade two traffic signs per year. This project also included the intersection of Jones Bridge Road at Taylor Road (not pictured).

Johns Creek holds Morton Road Park groundbreaking
|
Mayor Pro Tem Lenny Zaprowski and City Council members Brian Weaver, John Bradberry, Chris Coughlin, and Stephanie Endres joined city staff and Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee members in marking the groundbreaking of Morton Road Park.
Construction is expected to be completed in the fall, weather permitting.
