Johns Creek selects Ed Densmore as finalist for City Manager
Ed Densmore served as the acting City Manager for the past eight months and holds the distinction of being the city’s first and only police chief, a role he has held for the last 11 years.

City announces new Finance Director
Ronnie Campbell will be joining the senior management team as the new Finance Director.  

City completes traffic signal upgrades
Public Works staff marked the completion of signal replacements at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Preston Oaks Drive/Breckenridge Close (west of the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Jones Bridge Road) today.

The project included replacing the spanwire signals with mast arms at each corner of the intersection - part of the city’s plan to upgrade two traffic signs per year. This project also included the intersection of Jones Bridge Road at Taylor Road (not pictured). View road construction project information.
Johns Creek holds Morton Road Park groundbreaking
Mayor Pro Tem Lenny Zaprowski and City Council members Brian Weaver, John Bradberry, Chris Coughlin, and Stephanie Endres joined city staff and Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee members in marking the groundbreaking of Morton Road Park.

Construction is expected to be completed in the fall, weather permitting.

The TSPLOST project aims to address traffic congestion from Waters Road to State Bridge Road.

Special Needs Services & Expo sets Community Meetings
The North Fulton Special Needs Services & Expo is hosting community engagement opportunities and the public is welcome to attend to be a part of future program, event, and service development.

Johns Creek will host a meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at Park Place inside Newtown Park.

The Wall That Heals Vietnam Memorial grand opening set for Saturday, March 28
The Wall That Heals, a 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, found a permanent home in the City of Johns Creek at Newtown Park and opens to the public Saturday, March 28.

Johns Creek Symphony, Chattahoochee High present 'A Night in Russia' concert on Saturday, March 28
The concert includes Chattahoochee High School’s musicians performing alongside the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra in a night of Russian masterworks.

Special Needs Spring Fling set for Sunday, March 29
Guests will enjoy games, activities, an Easter Egg Dash and a special visit from the Easter Bunny!
