United Way Launches Miami Pandemic Response Fund
To support rapidly escalating needs, the United Way of Miami-Dade and the Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald have launched the Miami Pandemic Response Fund. The fund will support struggling families with emergency needs including rent/mortgage assistance, food, medication and utilities as well as issue micro-grants to small businesses.

GMCVB Launches Miami Eats
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has launched MIAMI EATS - a new program to help our restaurants and their employees during this crisis. Now more than ever it’s important to support our local businesses. The GMCVB has created a detailed interactive list of restaurants that have take out and delivery options for your convenience. Support Your Local Restaurants
While restaurants have closed their dining rooms to prevent spreading the illness, many have kept their kitchens open for takeout, curbside pickup and delivery. Please support our small businesses and restaurants during this time.The Business Improvement District of Cora Gables and the Coral Gables Magazine are keeping an updated list of restaurants that are open for takeout and delivery.

Take-out & Pickup Zones for Restaurants
If you're picking up food from a restaurant in the downtown, the City has reserved some spaces for your convenience. All centralized valet locations have been converted to Take-out & Pickup Zones. In addition, the City has added several more locations:
- Parking lot 25 adjacent to Giralda Plaza;
- 200 block of Andalusia Avenue near Chocolate Fashion;
- 2400 block of Ponce de Leon Boulevard near Cheesecake Factory;
- 300 block of Aragon Avenue in front of Caffe Abbracci;
- 300 block of Giralda Avenue in front of Tap 42;
- 200 block of Giralda Avenue near Terre del Sapore; and,
- 2600 block of Ponce de Leon Boulevard near Canton.
There are now 45 spaces in the downtown dedicated to takeout and pickup parking. These locations will provide free parking for up to 10 minutes. Please look for the “10 Minute Take-out Parking Only” signs. Locations may be adjusted.
