Let Your Voice Be Heard on COVID-19 Workforce Safety Rules

The advisory committee chaired by MMA’s Dave Worthams that is tasked with making recommendations to state safety regulators on permanent COVID-19 workplace safety rules is actively seeking direct input from employers. Please consider taking a few moments over the next two weeks to let policymakers know your perspective as a Michigan manufacturer.

The Michigan Occupational Health and Safety Administration (MIOSHA) Part 505 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Advisory Committee will meet twice weekly over the next two weeks and time is dedicated at the end of each meeting to hear from stakeholders directly impacted by workplace safety rules. Each meeting takes place from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with public comment at approximately 11:45 a.m.
