Earlier today, the San Francisco Interfaith Council (SFIC), supported by the COVID Command Center's Joint Information Center (JIC) Virtual Outreach Team, hosted the 24th in a series of weekly COVID-19 (Coronavirus) response briefings for faith leaders. Today's briefing featured Co-Chair of the San Francisco Economic Recovery Task Force (SF ERTF) and President & CEO of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Rodney Fong, who addressed San Francisco's economic outlook and the developing work of the SF ERTF in these times of the COVID-19.

Please join us next Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 8:30 am, for the next in the SFIC's series of "Online Briefings for Faith Leaders," with a modified format, at which we will welcome San Francisco Health Officer Dr. Tomas Aragon, who will present on why and how Public Health Orders, Directives and Guidances are developed, their legal significance, what references the existing Health Order makes to worship, houses of worship and other religious facilities, and the distinction/relationship a County Health Order has to the Guidances issued by the State of California. In lieu of a panel discussion, following Dr. Aragon's presentation, he will respond to questions submitted by San Francisco Faith Leaders.
