Houston's greatest energy resource is its entrepreneurial energy
Houston People ~ Houston Proud!

In these uncertain times we've been getting numerous questions regarding a multitude of empty office buildings and the high vacancy rate.

Because of the importance of the questions we consulted our high accuracy "tell us the future" source.

Some of you know It's the deluxe model, c
omplete with swirling mists, and very reliable.

The answers provided were complex and highly interesting.

In particular it revealed that the "vacate the office" evolution has started and that an ever increasing number of people will remain working from home, with even more doing so in the future.

And the trend will now be home offices, including the staff working for the really, really big companies.

Sci-fi scenarios forecast that environmental change years ago.

And communication technologies, very easy to use, have attained a level of sophistication that permits excellent simultaneous audio/visual conversations among dozens, scores or hundreds of people from a few yards to literally thousands of miles away.

Don't be surprised as larger companies start providing increased compensation and improved hardware for work-from-home staff and special software will facilitate remote access to company data/information/communications keeping it secure.

Consider the additional benefit of no drive time, vehicle use, parking requirements or transportation pollution.

Watch and learn.

Join us for a virtual morning business meeting on June 3rd and share with us what your company is doing to keep you working at home and away from the office.

Recognizing Industry  Leaders:
Services Cooperative Association
Market Expansion ~ Business Development
Entrepreneurial Education ~ Professional Growth
Since 1983!
A not-for-profit cooperative association of independent businesses, founded from an economic development research project on the
importance of startup business development conducted by the
Houston Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's.

Since our first Co-Op meeting held March 14, 1983, we've worked with 65,643
people, generating 45,098 tips, leads, referrals and items of new business, generating revenues exceeding one billion dollars, founded the Entrepreneurial Development Center - Houston's first and Texas' oldest small business incubator and co-working space, First Houston Small Business Seed Capital Fund - literally the first small business seed capital fund in Houston, the Womens Business Center - first business incubator for women business owners in the United States with residency space and the Virtual Business Center - the first remote business incubator in the world - all totally without public funding, grants, gifts, donations or contributions.

Co-Op companies have won virtually every award for business growth in Houston, some nationally and some even internationally.

Our Entrepreneurial Research conclusively demonstrated A) "entrepreneurship" could be taught in a classroom environment, resulting in colleges and universities, globally, commencing entrepreneurial courses and B) that women starting businesses were seeking a hand-up and a level playing field rather than a hand-out or charity and C) that business incubators actually accelerated business growth resulting in the next generation being named accelerators and D) incubators/accelerators could be entirely self-sufficient by charging a modest royalty interest in client companies and that entrepreneurship was color blind and gender neutral.
