New York Interscholastic High School Golfers are invited to register to play: 2021 RDGA High School Invitational Deerfield Golf & Country Club Rochester, NY June 5-6, 2021 The top 3 overall Girls and Boys finishers will qualify for an invitation to play in the NHSGA High School Golf National Invitational representing the state of New York. To assist college coaches and aspiring collegiate golfers the participants will be playing at approximately 6000 yards for girls and 7000 yards for boys. You are invited and eligible to submit an application to this event if you are an Interscholastic High School golfer and reside in New York State. The RDGA New York High School Invitational will be a Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranked and Global Junior Golf Rankings tournament. The RDGA, the RDGA Foundation, Section V Athletics and Deerfield G&CC look forward to hosting you and your family for this unique tournament.

EVENT: RDGA New York High School Invitational DATES: Saturday-Sunday June 5 & 6, 2021 LOCATION: Deerfield Golf & Country Club FIELD SIZE: 84 ENTRY FEE: $100 (includes tournament & range) FORMAT: Stroke Play, 36 Hole, 18 holes each day TEE TIMES: Holes #1 & #10 tees beginning at Noon both days DIVISIONS: High School Girls, High School Boys YARDAGE: Girls Approximately 6000* Boys Approximately 7000* *Collegiate level yardages assisting junior golfers & college coaches with recruiting

Eligibility:

Any New York State Interscholastic High School Golfer is eligible to submit an application to play in this tournament. Application registrations are being accepted from 9:00 AM on March 12-April16, 2021 at 5:00 PM.

Registration:

March 12-April 16 Applications for registration may be submitted. NY Section representation, seniority and additional application information will be taken into consideration. If region to region travel restrictions are not lifted, players from some Sections may be impacted and may be unable to participate in the event. April 20 Confirmation of applicants who have gained entry to the tournament will be posted and a waiting list will be formed. If there are any spots remaining, additional registrations will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Additional information on Tournament details will be emailed to the confirmed participants on Tee Times, pairings, practice rounds and spectator carts. The RDGA & Section V Athletics will follow New York State and Regional COVID mandates, recommendations and requirements at the time of the event. If regional travel bans have not been lifted prior to the event we will notify those players who will be impacted.

This is a collaborative event between the RDGA & Section V Athletics. The 2021 NYSPHSAA High School Boys and Girls Golf State Championship has been cancelled.
