Write for the Harvard ALI Social Impact Review ! The Social Impact Review aims to bring together diverse stakeholders and voices to drive positive change on significant global issues. The  Review  will feature articles, interviews, op-ed commentaries, and reviews of relevant social impact books and materials, on climate change, health, democracy, education, and more.

Deborah DiSanzo (2019) is introducing students to the promise, and challenges, of artificial intelligence in health. Last semester, Ms. DiSanzo taught a new course at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health—Artificial Intelligence in Health.

Allyson Maynard-Gibson (2019) says COVID-19 has created a need to rebuild trust and rewire institutions in a new social contract. Ms. Maynard-Gibson appeared on a panel for the Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development on sustaining peace in the time of COVID-19.

Dan O'Connor (2017) is offering his thoughts on what executives can learn from the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. O'Connor, executive in residence through the Future of Work Initiative at Harvard Business School, shared his key lessons in a recent interview with CNBC.

Amanda Rischbieth (2017) will join the South Australian Government's COVID-19 Economic Recovery Reference Group. Dr. Rischbieth invites any ALI Coalition members to share key insights from their city or country's economic recovery progress.

Pat Chadwick (2016) is helping match encore talent with nonprofit needs. Ms. Chadwick and the Encore Boston Network are working with WeConnectForGood to build connections between the nonprofit community and older adults in Boston.

Gordon Hamlin (2016) says that Chapter 9 can help rescue and secure state and local pensions. In an op-ed for The Hill , Mr. Hamlin argues that political leaders can put troubled pension plans on sound footing through a Plan of Debt Adjustment.

Ken Kelley (2015) is working to discover what antibody and immune response will protect someone from COVID-19. Mr. Kelley is involved with the COVID Correlates Project to help manufacturers develop vaccines more quickly and with greater likelihood of success. He invites any ALI Coalition members interested in supporting the project to contact him directly .

Gale Pollock (2011) says Congress needs to boost funding for national parks to let veterans heal. In a letter , co-authored with seven retired generals, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Pollock argues that national parks can serve as spaces for "post-pandemic healing" of veterans under stress.

ALI Faculty Board Member Andrew Crespo (HLS) aims to interrogate the gap between the criminal-justice system's ideals and its reality. In a profile in Harvard Magazine , Prof. Crespo shares his path to practicing law and recalls his first client—a child who celebrated his eighth birthday in juvenile lockup.

ALI Executive Committee Member Howard Koh (SPH/HKS) says we need one response—not 50—to fight COVID-19. In an op-ed for STAT , Dr. Koh says the US needs a unified response and recovery plan that can be tailored and implemented locally.
