Camp Minnesota
Registration is open for the 2021 camping season! Check out the sessions at the Camp Minnesota website and pick your favorite location: Northern Pines, Koronis Ministries, or Kowakan Adventures.

Registration and all information for the 2021 camping season will be digital and available on our website. With the potential for changes to schedules and events leading up to summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Dakotas and Minnesota Camp & Retreat Ministry team chose to forgo the traditional printed camp brochure this year. Instead, all camp listings and registration information are on the Camp Minnesota website where details will be updated quickly, and changes made in real-time. This ensures you will always have the most up-to-date information.

The early bird incentive, bring-a-friend discount, and camperships are all still available.

Vacation Bible School July 12-15!
Exciting plans are coming together! This year we are partnering with Miss Jan at her new work church, Good Samaritan in Edina. Good Samaritan will be our host church this year for VBS. We love this plan because they have lots of very safe, outside space, which will allow us to have our whole day of camp out doors. We think this will help ensure a safer experience for all of our campers and volunteers. Registration will open in February.

Hennepin Church sponsors two Guatemalan students – a 6-year-old girl, Ana, and a 14-year-old boy, Josué, through the Minnesota non-profit Common Hope. Our sponsorship helps Ana and Josué gain an education.
Part of our relationship is to encourage them by corresponding with them. Hennepin’s Outreach Committee assures that the students receive letters quarterly and would love it if your child might wish to develop a relationship of support and care with these students. Spanish language skills are not required, but a student in a Spanish Immersion school might be particularly interested, as they are welcome to write letters in Spanish. All correspondence is via email through Common Hope. Photos, drawings and letters are all accepted. Please contact Kimm Schneider at 612kimmschneider@gmail.com or call 612-889-3766 if interested. Gracias!
