A Co-op Pivot Creates Opportunities for Peace

When Maggie’s international co-op plans were upturned, a new opportunity with big potential presented itself.
“Alpha Omega Epsilon, my professional and social sorority for women in STEM, has been hosting online events to strengthen our bond during these trying times. We meet virtually to plan events and check in on each other. The executive board even put in special consideration for graduating seniors and will have a virtual Senior Sendoff for us. Even though I can’t see my sisters in person, I still need my community and feel connected to them.”
