Haunt Your House Decorating Competition
Set out the pumpkins, hang up the bats, put out the spiders, ghosts,
and black cats! Whether it’s your fall best or a fright fest, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and the Grove Springs Cultural District invite you to get into the “spirit” of the fall and Halloween season by entering your home and/or business in the Haunt your House Decorating Competition.

Sign-up by submitting your name, business name (if applicable), address, and phone number to joshgoff.gacc@gmail.com no later than Sept. 30, 2020. Participating residences and businesses will be judged between October 1st and 14th, in two divisions: residential exterior and commercial exterior. Two unlucky winners will be announced via Facebook on Oct. 17th.

Lights on the Lake Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

A time honored tradition beloved by many returns for its 20th season!
Nothing brings out the child in all of us quite like watching dazzling lighted floats glide through the streets of town during the most anticipated Christmas event of the season, the Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we’re rolling out the red carpet with a blockbuster theme, “Tinseltown: Christmas at the Movies!” Enjoy scenes from your favorite Christmas classics as they come alive before your very eyes. Are you ready for your close-up? Lights! Camera! ACTION!
The Delaware County Community Partnership will be hosting a bullying prevention virtual fundraising event October 10-17 to bring awareness to the many facets of bullying and to encourage kindness and compassion. Proceeds raised at this event will go into the Delaware County school systems. Teachers will be able to apply for mini grants to implement a curriculum or project to promote anti-bullying behavior and bullying awareness. Sponsors will be listed on the back of the t-shirt and mentioned on the DCCP Facebook page. Businesses, churches, organizations, or individuals can become a sponsor for any amount. There is no minimum requirement.
