Spring Spectacular
Administrator Note: IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Dear World Compass Academy Community,

We are so happy to have students and staff back from Spring Break. We hope everyone is staying warm this snowy March. We are asking for help and cooperation from our parent/guardian community.

We need some teamwork during our afternoon carpool. We strongly encourage you to read the attached document outlining specific needs during end-of-day dismissal. Carpool Procedures

Highlights:
  1. Please arrive no earlier than 3:15pm when planning on picking your student up in carline. If you arrive before 3:15pm, please park in the Plum Creek Church parking lot. (You can still pick-up in carline just wait until 3:15 to pull onto Perry Street.)
  2. We will no longer be dismissing students to anyone without a student number card. This is a student safety priority for the school. If you forget your card or have lost it, please come to the front office, have your ID ready, and Lisa Parker will make sure your student is dismissed to the front. If you have misplaced your card, Lisa Parker will give you a replacement.

We appreciate your help in this matter. We hope to prevent the backup on the frontage road, and we want to ensure all drivers, parents/guardians, staff, and students remain safe.

Warm Regards,
Bethany, Krista, and Amanda
CMAS Testing Updates
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Governor Jared Polis has signed a bill to reduce the amount of standardized testing this spring, but the state needs to be granted a federal government waiver to do so.

The testing schedule, found here, will change if waiver is granted. If your child is an e-learner please make sure to select the correct tab at the bottom to view their test schedule. We will notify our parents as soon as we know more. Stay tuned via email and social media for updates regarding CMAS Testing.

More information about the bill:

Please contact Clare Kiesel, school assessment coordinator, with your intentions or questions.
