Dear Parents,
We are entering our fourth week of e-learning. I have had the pleasure of joining some Zoom sessions. It was great to see and hear students participate in some great lessons. We are also exploring having sessions on Google Classroom and Google Hangouts. I encourage all students to take advantage of teacher office hours, Zoom sessions, and video learning. Treat all interactions as you would if we were still in school. Ask questions and participate! To help keep your child(ren) focus on school learning, please ensure they have a dedicated space, a school scheduled with breaks, and show you their work progress each day. Please be sure to check teacher pages and emails for information regarding assignments (specific submission directions and deadlines), Zoom sessions, and video lessons. Your daily involvement strengthens our partnership in your child(ren)'s education and supports a sense of normalcy during this highly unusual time.
As a sign of our continued sense of gratefulness for our school and local community, please have your students post a colorful Thank You sign in your window. Thank you to our students for working so hard, parents for supporting their child(ren), teachers for working hard for our students, and our front line health care, grocery store, delivery drivers, and anyone who is on the front line for us each and every day. Thank YOU!
