“Do this in memory of me.” – Luke 22:18

Dear Saint Mary’s Friends,

Mass Reservation Update
For today, something of practical-liturgical-parochial importance. Let's try to improve the registration process for Mass that allows for cancellations and the opportunity for others to take those spots.

Along with the maintenance team and ushers who set up, check in attendees, and sanitize after each Mass, we owe a debt of gratitude to our Parish communication director, Carolyn Haitsch, who not only edits and publishes this Newsletter and oversees announcements, but also coordinates Mass registration. Please see Carolyn's Mass registration update below.
MASS RESERVATION UPDATE

Mass Reservations will Remain Open
In order to allow more flexibility for Parishioners, Mass signups will no longer close on Saturdays. We will keep them open throughout the weekend to allow Parishioners to cancel their reservations, if need be, and others to continue to make reservations.

Reservations Open Thursdays at 9 AM
Mass reservations will continue to open Thursdays at 9 AM. You can access the system from our homepage or from the reminder email sent every Thursday morning. Masses close quickly, so please plan ahead.

Mass Full? Check Back for Openings
If you find your preferred Mass is full, check back throughout the weekend. People cancel and reservations open up. You have full access now and no longer need to email to check for cancellations.

Can No Longer Attend? Please Cancel Your Reservation
Please be sure to cancel your reservation if you can no longer attend so others may have a chance to attend Mass.

  • Go to your confirmation email and click "Edit My Signup." You can cancel there.

(Please email if you have trouble cancelling. Internet Explorer can have issues. We recommend using a Chrome or Firefox browser.)

Patience with Ushers
Please have patience with our ushers and seating planners until they figure out the best way to handle this new fluid system. Some last-minute adjustments will need to be made with chairs and spacing.
New Ministry
Also, please take note of a new Ministry coming to our Parish from my previous Parish, Holy Spirit in Stamford. It's a wonderful ministry, which helps grieving children. If you are a crafter, please consider making something for their holiday fundraiser. Ministry and fundraiser information links are below.

Programs in October
We are planning some interesting programs for you this fall. Our popular women's bible study group, Walking with Purpose, will begin via ZOOM October 8. That same day, we are beginning a 10-session book study on 13 Powerful Ways to Pray. Our next Mondays with Mary will take place in October as well and will focus on Our Lady of Kibejo. We will share that date with you soon. Links to more information are available below.
Many blessings,
Monsignor Royal
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Now and Forever. Amen.
