Miami-Dade TPO to Host Virtual Transportation Session for Projects in South Dade
The Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization will be holding a virtual information session on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. regarding transportation projects and programs that are planned or in place in the "TPA 5" South Miami-Dade Area. The area encompasses Cutler Bay, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Homestead, Florida City, and unincorporated South Dade.

This information session is part of Miami-Dade TPO’s virtual “Taste of Transportation” series. The TPO normally holds an annual Transportation Fair to increase awareness about transportation projects but—due to the pandemic—that fair evolved into the Taste of Transportation series. The series is a seven-part program where each session explores one of the seven Transportation Planning Areas (TPAs) in Miami-Dade County (See the map to learn more about the limits of each TPA).

Floridians 50+—Take the Safe Mobility for Life Survey

If you are a Floridian aged 50+, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) wants to know how you get from place to place in your daily life by participating in the Safe Mobility for Life Survey. The survey asks about driving habits and use of other types of transportation, as well as various factors that may affect them. Your name or any other information that shows your identity will NOT be recorded. Your participation in this study will help FDOT better understand transportation needs.
