Huge thanks to Speech Language Pathologist Michelle Connelly, Director of ATPF Bay Area Early Intervention Preschool Screening Program for expanding our Bay Area screenings since she joined our team in 2016. Thanks to Michelle's hard work, we have tripled the number of annual screenings we have provided to the Bay Area community in the last year!

Michelle is a Junior at San Diego State University and began volunteering with ATPF recently after Shelter in Place took effect. Michelle didn't let the quarantine hold her back - she continued to touch base with our team each week to find ways she can continue to help our team serve our kids and familie

. Thanks to Michelle, our team had more support than ever to transition all our programs to virtual/online platforms. Michelle has volunteered for many different virtual events and has become a very valuable member of our ATPF Intern team.

You and your family are invited to join us for a "virtual" musical playgroup using Zoom! A URL link, meeting ID, and password will be shared with all parents who RSVP. Special thanks to Dr. Lawrence Fung and his team at the Stanford University Neurodiversity Project for hosting this monthly webinar yesterday, featuring guest speaker Dr. Janie Hong, Clinical Assistant Professor Dept of Psychology at the University of California at Berkeley. Her topic, "Managing Stress & Anxiety During a Global Pandemic" was very helpful - with more than 145 webinar attendees!
