PLEASE RENEW OR JOIN!

Thank you for the wonderful support shown by parents, students, teachers, and staff. We currently have 260 members. Our goal is 590 members, as we have 590 students this year at IS.

Please remember to renew your membership, it makes a difference to our school and community. If finances are tight this year, a single membership is a huge support to us. Go to isptsa.org, and sign up to help us reach our next goal of 50% membership. We need about 295 members to make that goal.

Can't remember whether or not you already renewed? Please contact Meribeth at membership@isptsa.org to find out.

SCHOOL PICTURES

We are excited to be able to continue to offer school pictures this year. To ensure safety, this will be an outside event that will take place at a different location (not at International School—see below).

These pictures will provide families the opportunity to order these mementos as well as serve as the picture for the yearbook. For those families who are unable to attend or choose not to participate in this in-person activity, the yearbook staff is setting up an alternate process to ensure that all students have the ability to be represented in the yearbook.

Dates and Hours:
  • Wednesday, December 9, 1:00–4:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 12, 9:30 AM–4:00 PM

Location (not at International School):
Lake Hills Elementary School
14310 SE 12th Street, Bellevue, WA 98007

IS SNOWFLAKE DONATION DRIVE 2020 HAPPENING NOW!

Winter is approaching, the spirit of giving is here, and you know what that means . . . it's Snowflake season! The Snowflake Donation Drive is an annual International School tradition to gather donations for charitable organizations. This year, the needs are high, and we need your participation and support more than ever. We are partnering with Jubilee REACH (physical donations) and Hopelink (online donations) in our own effort to do more for our community.
HOPELINK
Due to COVID-19, Hopelink has decided to exclusively receive our online donations through this fundraising page: IS Hopelink Fundraiser. We have reached our Hopelink goal of $5,000! Thank you to everyone who has been helping and supporting this drive, we can’t believe we reached our goal in such a short amount of time, and we would have not been able to do so without your help. Because we reached it quicker than we expected, we decided to raise our Hopelink goal to $7,000.
JUBILEE REACH
Jubilee REACH aids families in our community and through their Groceries for Families program, and we will be collecting physical donations.

The drive-thru days to drop off food at International School are:
  • Wednesday, December 9, 1:00–3:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 12, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

This will be a no-contact drive-thru event. Place your donations in your trunk. Once you arrive, pop your trunk open. Our senior class officers will grab the donations from your trunk and close your trunk for you.

For more information, check out the Snowflake 2020 webpage.
Save the Date for the annual Snowflake Assembly on
Wednesday, December 16, at 10:15 AM to celebrate your support!
More information coming soon!
ORCHESTRA FAMILIES:

There will not be an orchestra event on December 10. In lieu of a live performance, a video performance is currently being created and will be sent out to orchestra families the week before break, so look out for it!
TUTORING!

Starting on December 8, drop-in tutoring provided by our National Honor Society high school students is available to all students for math, science, humanities/social studies, and French. To access these resources, students may open their International School Teams, click on the corresponding channels, and join the scheduled meetings in those channels.
