Dear Tall Pines School families,
We hope everyone is doing well. As you know, the Province of Ontario announced on Tuesday, June 9
th
, 2020 that all childcare centres may begin to resume operations once health and safety guidelines have been met, as mandated by local public health units.
As such, we are in the process of preparing for a summer reopening. Tall Pines School intends to reopen the Infant, Prima Casa and Summer Three-year Old Programs. Please find attached a letter from the Region of Peel, outlining some of the protocols being put in place. We will be offering a program for five weeks from
July 13th, 2020 to August 14th, 2020.

It was also announced that Summer Day Camp programs may also operate under their own health and safety guidelines as outlined by the government. Tall Pines School intends to reopen the Summer Camp Program, offering modified programming in the following age groupings:

Ages 4-5
-
Students entering Grades 1-3
-
Students entering Grades 4-6
-
Students entering Grades 7-9
These programs will be offered in
five one-week sessions from July 13th, 2020 to August 14th
,
2020.
Registration for these programs will open on Friday,
June 19th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Priority will be given to families who had already registered for Summer Camp prior to the school closure. These families will be receiving an email next week with options to transfer registration to the new programs.
Detailed program schedules and camp activities will be posted on or before Friday, June 19th, 2020.
The health and safety of our families and staff are top priority. All COVID protocols will be posted and outlined prior to registration.
Please note, should there be any unforeseen closures or program cancellations, all families will receive a full refund for any programming that does not take place.
