UCC Environmental Justice Candidate Forum: 11th District of Ohio Congressional Race
Cleveland has some of the highest lead poisoning rates for children in the country. Northeast Ohio is home to four of the nation's top 100 super-polluters. A history of environmental racism and economic inequality has long plagued the region. At the same time, there are opportunities to be gained or lost as our nation transitions away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. These are all issues that can be addressed by members of Congress. Learn what those running for Ohio's 11th Congressional District have to say in this environmental justice candidate forum co-hosted by the UCC’s Environmental Justice Ministries. Sign-up to attend this virtual event on Wednesday, April 21st at 3 pm!
Global Ministries VBS Curricula and Resources Available
Global Ministries VBS and Children’s resources are available for use in your congregation.

Whether you are planning a virtual, in-person, or hybrid Vacation Bible School or summer series for children and youth, consider using one of the Global Ministries curricula or resources!
Global Ministries resources are a great way to engage children and youth on God’s global mission and to learn more about church partners and their ministries around the world. Each curriculum or resource includes ideas for ways to engage children and youth in God’s global mission today - such as activities and games, music, learning how to cook favorite dishes from around the world, and giving opportunities for current projects of global partners. To browse a list of several current projects supporting children and youth around the world, find them here.

UCC Webinar--What's Fair? The U.S. and Responsibility for the Climate Crisis
Historically, the United States has released more global warming pollution than any other country, and it remains the world's second highest emitter. With its immense wealth and power, what are the moral obligations of the U.S. in confronting the climate crisis? In short, what's fair? Three leaders in the effort to address this question will present in this webinar: Sivan Kartha from the Stockholm Environment Institute, Jean Su from the Center for Biological Diversity, and Susannah Tuttle from North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light. Even if you can't make the webinar’s scheduled time on Wednesday, April 14th, at 1 pm ET, still sign-up, and we will send you a recording of it. Sign-up now for the webinar!
